Indianapolis, IN (March 1, 2012)- At the end of
2011, Lotus DRR (formerly known as Dreyer & Reinbold Racing)
and Group Lotus PLC announced that the team would serve as a Lotus
factory partner. As a result, the team has taken on a complete
rebranding effort and have re-launched a new and improved
website.
As Lotus DRR enters its 13th season of full-time competition in
2012, making it one of the longest-tenured teams in IZOD IndyCar
Series competition, the team has retired its royal blue and gray
team colors. During the off-season, the team underwent a
significant rebranding effort that represents the cache
professionalism and heritage of the Lotus brand. The team now
sports the historic Lotus black and gold livery which is now
prominently displayed on the team's website along with the new
Lotus DRR team logo.
The new and improved Lotus DRR website not only displays the
team's new logo and livery, but it also offers many features for
fans, sponsors, and media. Visitors will find up-to-date press
releases, photo galleries, and video content as well as information
on the team, driver, and crew members.
"This is another huge step for Lotus DRR. As we enter our 13th
year of competition, the pairing with Lotus, proves how hard we
have worked and how far we have come, just on the commercial side
of things. The Lotus brand not only is a perfect fit for DRR, but
for our commercial partners as well and our new livery and
re-vamped website is more proof of our commitment to the sport,"
stated Dreyer & Reinbold Racing Co-Owner, Robbie Buhl.
Lotus DRR will be back out on track next week as they test in
Sebring, Florida for the IZOD IndyCar Series open test. For more
